About the Bride
I'm from the very small and beautiful town of Webster, New Hampshire where I grew up with my younger brother Aaron and my parents Glen and Sandy Creighton. I spent a lot of time in the woods, tinkering with the computer, showing guernsey cows in 4-H, and over the years I played soccer, softball, and track and field. After graduating from Plymouth State University in 2005, I joined the web development team for H.H. Brown and now live in Somerville, MA.
About the Groom
I was born and raised in Barrington Rhode Island, the only child to Wayne and Caron Martin. My childhood was filled with swimming in the ocean, bike riding and camping instilling within me a love for outdoors. After finishing at Barrington High, where I focused in the sciences and played football, I went on to study biology at Plymouth State University. While there I met Beth and received my bachelors degree. Since graduating i work in a histology lab for Charles River Labs and live in Somerville with Beth and our three cats.
How We Met
We met at a Kevin Smith marathon sometime in those first few weeks of college at Plymouth State University. One crazy awesome Halloween costume later, Beth gave the thumbs up, and we've been together ever since :)
The Proposal
On a spontaneous but well needed vacation to Vieques, Puerto Rico, Chris proposed the very first night on the rooftop deck of our inn. I was terrified of the heights, and I thought he was kneeling next to my lounge chair to comfort me. It worked! ;) -Beth
